As we move closer to the beginning of our season, we have a couple of key positions for which we are looking for volunteers. Please review the list below and reply to basketball@noahjags.org if interested or willing to serve in some capacity.
Concessions coordinator or Concessions team member: Oversee the operations of the concession stand for home games. Serve as part of a team which organizes, purchases all items, and overseas the operations of the concession stand. Maintain proper inventory levels of products and provide training for volunteers.
Varsity / JH Game Confirmer: Communicates with other teams to confirm game times, teams, and gym locations for away games and then communicates all that info to the team moms of the NOAH teams involved.. For home games, confirms referees, scorekeeper, and clock operators. Also for home games reminds the Team Mom of their team's responsibility for clean-up.
Varsity/JH Volunteer Coordinator: Oversees the volunteer program on the high school and junior high levels for all home games. This includes overseeing volunteers for concessions, gate admissions, and clean-up , etc. Must remind and verify volunteers each game to ensure that each position is covered. IS NOT the responsibility to recruit volunteers. The list will be provided.
National Homeschool Championships Coordinator: Responsible for coordinating a team to arrange food and housing for those wishing to use the dorms in Springfield. Position would need to be planning on attending nationals and willing to stay in the dorms to help supervise during the week. I would prefer this to be someone who has stayed in the dorms before.
